Raheem Sterling says there is no panic about his Liverpool future and is confident of extending his contract at Anfield.
Sterling, 20, has been involved in talks about extending his deal since the start of the season, but so far an agreement has not been reached.
However the England forward, who signed a five-year deal in 2012 worth a reported 30,000 a week, has hinted that an agreement over a lucrative long-term extension is close.
"It is not a distraction to me, I am concentrating on winning games for Liverpool and hopefully it will be done soon," Sterling told the Daily Mirror ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash with Besiktas.
"I speak to my representative every day and he has just told me to concentrate on playing football, and him and the club will deal with it.
"I am happy playing football and I am focused on trying to do my best for this football club."
