Queen of the South vs Hearts preview - Reilly can't face Hearts

Queen of the South will be without hamstring-injury victim Gavin Reilly when Hearts visit.

Manager James Fowler potentially has other selection issues too as Andy Dowie and Ian McShane are both rated as doubts due to injury.

Fowler said: "This is a big game in our season as we want to remain in fourth place and beating Hearts is the best way to do that. The 3-0 and 4-1 score-lines in Hearts' favour from the first two games this season have been harsh on us.

"This is our chance to show that we are a better side than those results would suggest."

Hearts left-back Kevein McHattie is still waiting for his comeback from a knee injury after pulling out of a development league game.

Dale Carrick also remains out with a hamstring injury as the Scottish Championship leaders travel to face Queen of the South.

Head coach Robbie Neilson said: "It's a difficult place. Palmerston, at the best of times, is a hard place to go and they're doing really well at the moment.

"They've picked up some good results against some good teams down there."
