Stirling vs Brechin preview - Stirling looking to bounce back

Stirling look to pick themselves up from last Saturday's defeat to Ayr United by seeing off visitors Brechin.

They are again without the attacking threat of Steven Doris and Graham Weir, who both have stomach muscle injuries, and Darren Smith who has had knee surgery.

Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "Last weekend was the poorest performance we have seen since we joined in November.

"It was disappointing but we have to move on and I am sure the players will do their utmost to make amends against a good Brechin side.

"We need to start getting wins on board and this would be a great time to do that."

Brechin have added Falkirk midfielder Ollie Durojaiye on loan, with striker Andy Jackson set to return to action after injury.

Callum Tapping, who injured his knee in Brechin's last visit to Forthbank, remains out and manager Ray McKinnon has warned his men to be wary of their hosts.

McKinnon said: "They will be disappointed at losing to Ayr as they would have viewed that as a game that could give them a platform for safety. They will be looking to make up for that against us.

"The last time we played each other we had to dig deep to get a 2-1 win and this game will need the same approach."
