The third party

Nine days ago was a bad day for 'Los Blancos', when they went down to a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Atletico.
However, the following day - and for the rest of that week - the hot topic wasn't about what happened on the pitch, but at Cristiano Ronaldo's birthday party after the game.
The bad vibes amongst Real fans were only exacerbated by the Colombian DJ at CR7's party, Kevin Roldán, who uploaded various photos and videos so the whole world could see Cristiano, James, Marcelo and others celebrating the Portuguese star's birthday, oblivious to the malaise felt by their fans, who were left disillusioned after the damaging defeat.
A few days later, as the debate about whether the party was suitable raged on, media sources revealed that Iker Casillas was also at a birthday party that evening, his girlfriend Sara Carbonero's. Both parties were related to the players' private lives and had been organised well in advance. The difference is that the Real Madrid captain was aware of the discretion required following the poor result.
In fact, even the club president went to a birthday party after leaving the Calderón, to forget about his side's humiliating display. Florentino went to a restaurant where a popular member of the board, the Castilla president Nicolás Martin-Sanz, held a special celebration for his 75th birthday. Absolute discretion was observed.
