Doncaster Rovers vs Crewe Alexandra preview - Rovers wait on Forrester

Doncaster will check on Harry Forrester ahead of the visit of Crewe.

Forrester was withdrawn early in the second half of Saturday's home win over Yeovil due to a groin problem and the winger will undergo a fitness test.

Uche Ikpeazu missed out at the weekend with a hamstring injury but Rovers boss Paul Dickov said the on-loan Watford striker was "flying" in training on Monday and it looks like he will return to the squad against his former club.

Defender Luke McCullough (thigh) and midfielder James Coppinger (ankle) have been absent recently but should be back in contention shortly.

Crewe could name an unchanged line-up for the third straight game.

The in-form Alex have won three on the spin and have not conceded in their last two fixtures to put some breathing space between themselves and the relegation zone.

Defender Jon Guthrie (knee) is expected to return to full training this week having taken part in some light work last week, while long-term absentees Ryan Colclough (hernia) and Fraser Murdoch (knee) played for the development squad earlier this month.

Matt Tootle has had a protective boot on his ankle problem while midfielder Chris Atkinson is also out with a knee injury.
