Eibar 0 - 1 Elche - Elche win at Eibar

Elche boosted their Primera Division survival hopes after withstanding a second-half onslaught to win 1-0 at 10-man EIbar.
Jonathas headed the only goal five minutes after the interval but thereafter it was Eibar on the attack, with visiting keeper Przemyslaw Tyton twice brilliantly denying Ander Capa.
Federico Piovaccari was sent off with a little over 10 minutes remaining for Eibar, who now lead their opponents by only four points. Victory took Elche clear of the bottom three by the same margin.
Eibar's Javi Lara flashed a first-minute shot over the bar but Elche quickly responded, Jonathas shooting over before Edu Albacar's free-kick was saved by home keeper Jon Irazusta.
Eibar's Eneko Boveda missed the target but Tyton had to save long-range shots from Raul Navas and Borja Fernandez before half-time.
Elche took the lead when Albacar swung in a free-kick from the right and Jonathas won the header and found the bottom corner of the net.
Tyton had to be alert to prevent Eibar equalising within three minutes, tipping Capa's shot around the post and then blocking Javi Lara's effort from close range.
Capa sent a 25-yard shot over the bar and Dani Garcia headed Lara's corner wide before Eibar were reduced to 10 men, Piovaccari receiving a straight red card for a bad foul on full-back Albacar.
Capa had another chance from inside the six-yard box, but again Poland international Tyton stood firm.
And when Dani Nieto blasted over in stoppage time, Eibar's last chance of an equaliser was gone.
