Burton Albion FC vs Oxford United preview - Lenihan in Brewers frame

Darragh Lenihan could be back for Burton when Oxford visit the Pirelli Stadium.

The midfielder, who recently extended his loan from Blackburn until March 15, missed the goalless home draw with AFC Wimbledon in midweek with an ankle injury.

Jacob Blyth was also absent for Tuesday night's stalemate and the on-loan Leicester striker looks like he will be unavailable for around six weeks with the hamstring problem he sustained at Cheltenham.

Defenders Stefan Maletic (hamstring) and Kelvin Maynard (hip) remain out. Maynard has resumed training but Saturday's game will probably come too soon for the Dutchman.

Oxford could hand a debut to new signing George Baldock.

The MK Dons right-back arrived on loan until the end of the season on Thursday and is likely to be involved in the squad.

Striker Will Hoskins could join him after making his return to action after a troublesome groin problem with the winning goal as the Us' development squad won at Birmingham in midweek.

James Roberts will hope to be given a start after catching the eye off the bench in Tuesday's 1-0 defeat at Accrington and Michael Appleton could ring the changes in a bid to get back to winning ways with the likes of Sam Long and Andrew Whing also likely to come into contention.
