Oldham Athletic AFC vs Colchester United preview - Wilkinson worry for Latics

Oldham are almost certain to be without loanee Conor Wilkinson when they entertain Colchester at SportsDirect.com Park.
Latics are waiting on the results of Wilkinson's hamstring scan after the forward returned to Bolton to assess an injury he sustained in the win over Swindon in midweek.
Rhys Murphy could make his first start for the club in Wilkinson's absence, while manager Lee Johnson may also turn to Dominic Poleon or Danny Philliskirk as another attacking option.
Amari Morgan-Smith is still considered a couple of weeks away with a hamstring strain and club captain Adam Lockwood (foot) may be sent out on loan soon now he is close to full fitness.
Colchester midfielder George Moncur is hoping to shake off the effects of recent illness and return to contention.
Moncur has missed the U's last three matches due to tonsilitis and had been close to a return in the midweek defeat at Sheffield United, so he could be included in boss Tony Humes' plans.
Fellow midfielder Elliott Hewitt is back in contention after serving a three-match ban, while Sanchez Watt is pushing for a recall after making way for Ben Gordon on Tuesday night.
Humes has no major new injury or suspension problems as his side, four points from safety in 21st place, bid to avoid a third straight defeat.
