Belief Never Goes – Vincent Kompany On Manchester City Title Chances

Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany insists that the belief will never fade away as his side fight to win their second straight league title this year.
The Citizens are currently seven points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea with 13 matches still to play before the season comes to a close.
And the 28-year-old believes that there is no reason to believe that hopes of retaining the league title have been lost.
He drew references from the Sky Blues' 2011/12 campaign, when they were eight points adrift at one juncture, but finally went on to claim the title by leaving Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United behind them.

"Belief never goes", Kompany was quoted as saying by ITV.
"Past experiences should give us enough confidence to carry on and go for it.
"It has happened before. The belief is always there, that is never the problem, even when form is not the best."
The Belgian talked up their performance against Stoke City yesterday, a 4-1 win, to insist that such performances give them hope to fight until the end in order to decide the fate of the title.
"Performances like this make us not need to talk so much. It makes it obvious we are a good team and that is what we need to show."
Manuel Pellegrini's side will play Newcastle United next in the league on 21st February before hosting Barcelona in a Champions League round of 16 match on 24th February.
