Moyes wants Burnley ace Ings at Real Sociedad

The former Manchester United boss is unsure whether he would be able to tempt the in-demand attacker to move to La Liga but is not hiding his admiration for the 22-year-old

Real Sociedad coach David Moyes has dropped a hint that he will be making a summer move for Danny Ings, admitting that any team would be interested in signing the Burnley striker.

The 22-year-old has been linked with Liverpool, while Goal revealed on January 26 that Sean Dyche's side had demanded more than £10 million (€13.4m) in an attempt to price Tottenham out of a move for the forward.

The Anoeta has also been mooted as a potential destination for the England Under-21 star and Moyes admits that he is a player that he would like to acquire.

The former Manchester United boss told BBC Radio 5 live: "Danny Ings is someone I think has done really well. He's somebody anyone would like to have. Will we be able to attract him here? I don't know.

"The British market is one I know with where I've come from. There's players there that I think it [moving to Spain] would help them and their profile. It would be great for many of them to come and play in Spain and try it."
