Stevenage Borough - Bury preview - McAllister blow for Shrews

David McAllister looks like missing out for Stevenage when they tackle fellow play-off hopefuls Bury.

The midfielder limped out of Saturday's 1-0 loss to Mansfield with a groin injury and boss Graham Westley revealed he is 'almost certain to miss out' on the clash with the Shakers with Simon Walton is likely to get the nod in his place.

Westley has plenty of other injuries to contend with Calvin Zola Jerome Okimo, Tom Pett, Adam Marriott, Connor Calcutt, Dean Parrett and Roarie Deacon all having sat out that defeat on the weekend.

But there has been a rare injury boost for Boro with the news that Harry Worley has been given the green light to resume non-contact training.

Bury are hopeful that Adam El-Abd can feature in the trip.

The central defender came off 15 minutes before the end of the 1-1 draw with Exeter on Saturday and Shakers boss David Flitcroft conceded his hamstring strain would need to be monitored.

Flitcroft's options in that region are due to be swelled shortly with Pablo Mills (groin) set to return to full training early this week.

Another defensive option, Keil O'Brien, who recently came back from a knee problem, could come into consideration but striker Ryan Lowe (hamstring) remains out.
