Bristol City - Port Vale preview - Robins to assess Wilbraham

Bristol City will assess striker Aaron Wilbraham before naming their squad to face Port Vale.

The former Norwich forward made his comeback from injury in Saturday's 0-0 draw with his old side MK Dons but boss Steve Cotterill revealed on Monday that Wilbraham suffered a reaction and they will see how he feels in the build-up to kick-off.

Cotterill has no other injury worries ahead of the Ashton Gate clash but he could shuffle his pack as the games continue to come thick and fast.

Marlon Pack, George Saville and Kieran Agard could all be in line for recalls.

Colin Daniel is a new injury concern for Vale ahead of the trip to Ashton Gate.

The striker was forced off with a knock shortly before half-time in Saturday's draw against Bradford and he will be checked on before Rob Page's men travel.

However, joint-leading scorer Ben Williamson might be back in the squad after missing out at the weekend with a minor hamstring tear.

Recent signings Greg Luer and Tommy O'Sullivan are options for Page, along with Chris Birchall and Achille Campion, who scored his first competitive goal for Vale on Saturday. But Louis Dodds will remain sidelined with a broken toe.
