Huddersfield vs Wolves preview - It's Miller's time for Terriers

Posted Monday, February 09, 2015 by PA

Huddersfield's new signing Ishmael Miller is expected to make his first start for the club in the home game against Wolves.

Miller, a deadline-day signing from Blackpool, is likely to be a straight swap for leading goalscorer Nahki Wells, who sits out a one-game ban following his dismissal in Saturday's win at Millwall.

Defender Tommy Smith is back in contention after being knocked unconscious the previous week against Leeds, but midfielder Jonathan Hogg (thigh) remains sidelined with a view to returning at the weekend.

Defender Joel Lynch (groin) and goalkeeper Joe Murphy (foot) are both still unavailable as Huddersfield chase back-to-back league wins for the first time since October.

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has no fresh injury worries for the trip to Yorkshire.

Scott Golbourne is still struggling with a foot injury, despite being on the bench for Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Reading.

Carl Ikeme is out with a broken metatarsal so Tomasz Kuszczak is set to deputise again.

Tommy Rowe remains out with his own broken foot he suffered in January.
