Bradford AFC 2 - 1 Milton Keynes Dons - Bradford fight back to claim win

Bradford warmed up for Sunderland in the FA Cup by coming from behind to beat high-flying MK Dons 2-1 and secure their first league win of 2015.

Billy Clarke and James Hanson scored after Dele Alli had given the Dons a lead early in the second half.

The win moves the Bantams into the play-offs as MK Dons missed the chance to go top.

In a quiet first half, Danny Green fired a free-kick wide for the visitors, while Jon Stead shot straight at David Martin from the edge of the area.

The hosts came out quickly in the second period but found themselves behind nine minutes in.

Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, cleared to play after winning his appeal against Saturday's red card, scuffed a clearance straight to Jonson Clarke-Harris, who played in Alli to fire home his 13th league goal of the season.

But City were behind for just three minutes. Gary Liddle headed the ball back into the Dons' area, where Clarke took the ball in his stride and beat Martin from close range.

And with 20 minutes left the Bantams went ahead. Stead slid through a lovely ball for Hanson, who slotted under Martin from the edge of the area.

Carl Baker went close twice in the dying stages, firing wide from the edge of the area before being denied by a fine save from Pickford after running on to Devante Cole's flick-on, but Bradford held on.
