York City vs Dagenham and Redbridge preview - Zubar back for York
Posted Friday, February 06, 2015 by PA
York defender Stephane Zubar returns to contention for the home game against fellow strugglers Dagenham after suspension.
Zubar has served a four-game ban following his second dismissal of the season last month and boss Russ Wilcox must decide whether to recall him or stick with John McCombe alongside Keith Lowe in central defence.
Goalkeeper Michael Ingham will return to contention for his first appearance since mid-November following a shoulder injury, while Wilcox has no new injury or suspension worries.
The Minstermen, above the bottom two only on goal difference, have scored one goal in their last five games and are chasing their first win in six matches.
Daniel Carr could make his Dagenham debut after signing on loan for a month from Huddersfield.
The striker fills the gap left by Rhys Murphy after his deadline day move to Oldham.
Boss Wayne Burnett has Alex Jakubiak available after the forward extended his loan spell from Watford until the end of the season.
The manager has no other injuries worries with Dagenham having lost just once in their last six games.
