Oxford United vs Luton Town preview - MacDonald set for U's bow

Oxford look set to hand a debut to striker Alex MacDonald when they host Luton.
The 24-year-old, who has already scored seven times this season, made the move to the Kassam this week for an undisclosed fee and is in line to make his first start for the U's.
However fellow new recruit, goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown, will have to be content with a place on the bench as Ryan Clarke keeps his place.
Wes Burns will also be missing from the squad that beat Stevenage 2-0 last weekend as he was recalled by Bristol City then sent on loan to Cheltenham.
Luke Wilkinson will be fit for Luton. The central defender hobbled off against Cambridge last Saturday with a hamstring problem but he has been able to train this week.
Luke Guttridge and Alex Lawless (both foot) and Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu (hamstring) have also trained fully this week, although the Hatters' preparations have been hindered by the cold weather which saw Tuesday's development game at Peterborough postponed.
New signings Ryan Hall and Nathan Oduwa will come into contention for places in the squad.
Paul Benson, meanwhile, continues to make steady progress in his recovery from a broken leg and the striker is set to resume full training with the rest of the squad next week.
