Yeovil Town vs Crawley Town preview - Glovers wait on Moore

Yeovil will check on the fitness of Kieffer Moore as they start life without Gary Johnson against Crawley.

The 59-year-old was sacked as Glovers boss on Wednesday, ending his second spell with the club after three years at the helm, and interim boss Terry Skiverton hopes striker Moore, who has been filling in at centre-back, will shrug off a knock to his foot to feature.

And Skiverton, who managed the side between 2009 and 2012, has Cardiff loanee Ben Nugent available again after serving a four-game suspension but has a lengthy injury list to contend with.

Kevin Dawson (pelvis), Simon Gillett (knee) and Jakub Sokolik (knee) will not feature again this season while Chris Weale (ankle), Liam Davis (foot) and Joel Grant (knee) are all some way away from full fitness. Artur Krysiak is set to be given the chance to impress in goal after Jed Steer's return to parent club Aston Villa.

Crawley can add new striker Mathias Pogba to their squad.

Boss Dean Saunders has this week pepped up his attack by bringing in the 24-year-old on a free transfer after he was released by Italian club Pescara.

Defender Dean Leacock is close to returning from a groin injury but forward Matt Harrold is a doubt and midfield duo Conor Henderson and Josh Simpson remain on the sidelines.

Harrold has been struggling with an Achilles problem, Henderson is still missing with ankle trouble and former skipper Simpson faces up to a month out with a recurrence of his hamstring injury.
