Real include Odegaard in Champions League squad

Real Madrid have named Martin Odegaard in their 25-man main Champions League squad (List A) ahead of the resumption of the tournament.
The recently signed Norwegian starlet was only eligible for this list, as he did not meet the requirements for List B, which can feature an unlimited number of players aged 21 or under who have been registered at the club for two uninterrupted years from their 15th birthday.
Odegaard, who is being tipped to wear the no. 21 shirt, will set a new record for the youngest participant in the Champions League if he features in the upcoming last-16 tie against Schalke. The current holder of this distinction is former Nigeria international Celestine Babayaro, who played for Anderlecht against Steaua Bucharest in 1994 at the age of 16 years and 87 days.
