Borussia Dortmund vs Augsburg preview - Klopp wary of Augsburg

Borussia Dortmund and Augsburg are separated by 14 points and as many places going into Wednesday night's clash, with both sides confounding expectations this season.
Augsburg are the ones pushing for a place in the Champions League next season while the Westphalians, who reached the final of Europe's elite club competition in 2013, languish at the bottom of the Bundesliga.
Dortmund have only won four out of 18 matches this term after finishing second in 2013-14 and they are staring relegation in the face ahead of a crucial home fixture against a side who cannot be taken lightly.
"They are very, very strong opponents - an extraordinarily strong team," said Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp at a press conference.
"Augsburg play with a great deal of self-confidence.
"They are also very good with important set-pieces, but that is unfortunately not the only way they can influence games."
Nevertheless, Klopp is not listening to any predictions of doom for his club, saying he remains confident by what he has seen from his side in training, and their 0-0 draw at Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
"We will get enough points to play in this division next season too," Klopp said.
"We've trained really hard over the past few weeks and my team is very talented and nothing has changed in this.
"We now just need to show that out on the field."
Ciro Immobile, who impressed against Bayer Leverkusen, should have done enough in that game to keep his place ahead of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who will both again have to settle for a place on the bench.
Augsburg coach Markus Weinzierl is unlikely to make any changes to his side, which defeated Hoffenheim 3-1 on Sunday.
"We're keeping our feet on the ground, but we can't wait to face Dortmund on Wednesday," he said after Sunday's win which left the Bavarians level on points with Borussia Monchengladbach and Schalke in the race for third.
