Livingston will look to move off bottom spot at the expense of visitors Alloa when they meet in the Scottish Championship on Tuesday.

But they will have to do without the services of skipper Simon Mensing who has left the club for American side Atlanta Silverbacks.

Brad Donaldson (ankle) and Gary Glen (knee) continuebe sidelined as Lions manager Mark Burchill looks to build on the positivity created by the 5-1 win over Dumbarton in his side's last outing.

Burchill said: "When I took over I said that we needed goals, wins and confidence. We got the first two at Dumbarton and I have seen the third in training ever since.

"Hopefully it will all help with getting off bottom spot by defeating Alloa."

Alloa have added former Hartlepool striker Greg Rutherford and 6ft4in target man will feature if international clearance comes through.

Manager Barry Smith is also hoping to add a winger on loan from a Premiership club, however Adam Ashgar (foot) and Iain Flannigan (back) remain out, with recent recruits Isaac Layne and Calaum Jahraldo-Martin on the bench due to a lack of recent games.

Smith said: "This would be a terrific game to win as it would move us further away from Livingston and into eighth place.

"If we are to win we need to start the game better than we did against Hearts on Saturday."
