Juventus want Sheffield United striker Diego de Girolamo.

YOUNG BLADE: Diego de Girolamo has failed to agree a new contract at Sheffield United

The 19-year-old Chesterfield born Italy U20 international has been offered a new contract by the beaten League Cup semi-finalists.

But the forward has failed to agree new terms and United are now ready to sell.

De Girolamo scored in the FA Cup last week but was left out of the squad against Tottenham in midweek as he ponders his future.

Sunderland have also shown strong interest in recent months but the Italian champions have monitored his progress with the national team and want to take him to Turin.
