Airdrie United 1 - 1 Brechin City - Stalemate at Excelsior

Airdrie came from behind to secure their second successive draw as they were held 1-1 by Brechin.
The home side flew out of the traps and an ambitious effort from Ross Docherty was parried by goalkeeper Graeme Smith with eight minutes on the clock.
The visitors upped the ante after the break with Andrew Jackson's right-footed effort forcing Andy McNeil into a smart stop.
And it was no surprise when they make the deadlock in the 59th minute through the left foot of Alan Trouten after a pass from Robert Thomson.
Ten minutes later Jamie Bain earned Airdrie a point with a right-footed effort.
Luca Gasparotto thought he had stolen all three points a minute into added time only for keeper Smith to parry his header from the centre of the penalty area.
