Chesterfield 3 - 0 Crawley Town: Doyle at the double for Spireites

Eoin Doyle enhanced his growing reputation with two goals as Chesterfield moved into the play-off places with a 3-0 victory that leaves Crawley rooted to the bottom of League One.
The Irish striker, who has been linked with a move in the transfer window, took his tally for the season to 24 and set up Jay O'Shea for the second to leave Crawley without a win since October 21.
Crawley had a goal ruled out for a foul on goalkeeper Tommy Lee before Jimmy Smith headed against the crossbar in the 28th minute but Chesterfield went ahead after 34 minutes.
Armand Gnanduillet's flick-on sent Doyle into the area and he held off two defenders before firing into the bottom-right corner of Lewis Price's net from 12 yards.
Crawley's hopes of avoiding another defeat vanished in the space of three second-half minutes as Chesterfield scored twice to seal victory.
Doyle's pass released O'Shea and the midfielder came inside before bending a left-foot shot past Price from the edge of the penalty area and a defensive error two minutes later gave Doyle a simple finish.
Former Chesterfield striker Dean Morgan had a shot saved but Doyle fired wide as the home side cruised to a convincing victory.
