Stade Rennais FC - Caen preview - Yahia keen for Caen to kick on

Defender Alaeddine Yahia hopes Ligue 1 bottom side Caen have started to stir following last weekend's spectacular return to winning ways.
Caen were without a win in nine games and looked doomed at the foot of the table when they pulled off a shock 4-1 victory over mid-table Reims.
Now they are back within reach of safety and Yahia hopes momentum can start to build as they travel to out-of-form Rennes on Sunday.
The 33-year-old said: "On the evening of December 20 we were dying but with (last weekend's) success, we returned to within two points of 17th and if we win at Rennes, people will say they can see us being saved.
"This is the magic of football. Everyone saw us dead. Today we are still in a coma but I hope that by the 38th (fixture) we will be awake."
Caen's victory over Reims saw them register four goals in a match for the first time since 2008.
That should give them confidence as they face a Rennes side who have not won in five league matches.
Rennes may also be tired after a draining French Cup tie against Reims in midweek, although the dramatic nature of their penalty shootout success might provide a timely morale boost.
Coach Philippe Montanier said: "We must battle hard for points. In a season there are always some periods more difficult than others. Mental strength is essential.
"We'll see how the players have recovered from their efforts but Caen did not play in the French Cup. They will be fresher physically and mentally."
Rennes have injury doubts over midfielder Vincent Pajot (groin) and defender Ermir Lenjani (hip) for the clash at the Stade de la Route de Lorient.
