Stenhousemuir 1 - 1 Ayr Utd. - Strugglers endure stalemate

Ayr missed the chance to move out of the relegation play-off place in Scottish League One as they drew 1-1 with fellow strugglers Stenhousemuir at Ochilview Park.
The Warriors, who had lost their last four at home, went ahead in the 20th minute when Paul McMullan - signed on loan from Celtic for the rest of the season on Friday - fired into the bottom corner.
But Ayr levelled 13 minutes later through in-form forward Alan Forrest, who found the top corner for his fifth goal in eight games.
McMullan and Ayr's Craig Beattie had late chances to win the game but the sides had to settle for a share of the spoils, meaning Ayr's winless streak in all competitions extended to 13 games dating back to October 18.
