Alloa will add Isaac Layne to their squad for the visit of Raith, provided international clearance is received in time.

Layne joined from Southend this week and the 19-year-old will be in line for his debut if the formalities are completed.

Missing out for the Wasps are Iain Flannigan, who has a back problem, and Adam Ashgar, who has a foot problem.

Manager Barry Smith said: "I watched Raith Rovers last weekend against Dumbarton and they were very strong, particularly in the first half. If they play like that again then we are in for a very tough game. However, we are the home side and the players will go out looking to take the three points."

Raith have a full squad for their trip to the Indigo Stadium.

Goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw is unavailable to manager Grant Murray, though, after he joined League Two side Elgin on loan.

The Kirkcaldy men are going for a fourth win in a row, but Murray reckons that it will be tough against Smith's side.

He said: "Alloa have made it difficult for teams all season, especially on their own patch, and this game will be no different. They have caused Rangers, Hearts and Hibs problems there and if we do not go about things correctly then this will be the toughest game we will have had recently."
