Duo added to Warriors squad

Craig Sutherland and Paul McMullan will be included in the Stenhousemuir squad for the visit of Ayr.

Former Cowdenbeath striker Craig Sutherland has joined the Warriors on a permanent deal while McMullan has arrived on loan from Celtic. Elsewhere, Stewart Greacen remains out with a knee injury.

Ahead of the match, Stenhousemuir manager Scott Booth said: "I am delighted to get these boys in ahead of such an important game in our season. Ayr will have taken a lift from Ian McCall going in there and did well to get a point against Morton last Saturday so we will need to play well to get the three points.

"Three points would move us clear of Ayr, which would be very welcome."

Adam Blakeman, recently signed from Hyde FC, is added to the Ayr squad but Peter Murphy (back), Martyn Campbell (knee) and Sean McKenzie (ankle) all miss out through injury.

Craig Beattie comes back into the reckoning for United after a knock while defender Kevin McKinlay has joined Stirling Albion.

Ayr manager Ian McCall is looking to build on an encouraging draw with Morton last weekend.

He said: "I was really pleased with how we finished that game and that has given us a lot of encouragement for the rest of the season. This is a huge game and one where a win could be a springboard in terms of giving us a boost for the run in."
