McKinlay set for Albion bow

Kevin McKinlay will feature for Stirling when they host Forfar at Forthbank.

McKinlay has joined Albion from fellow strugglers Ayr and he joins a squad missing the suspended Lewis Coult and the injured Steven Doris (stomach) and Darren Smith (knee).

Ahead of the game, Stirling assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "We are still at the bottom of the table but the gap between us and other sides is catchable. The players have been tremendous since the manager Stuart McLaren and I came in and I am sure that they will be against Forfar.

"Kevin McKinlay will be involved and he will help us enormously in what will be a difficult game.'

Forfar will have fit-again striker Chris Templeman back in their ranks but Mark Baxter (ankle) and Dale Hilson (hamstring) remain out.

Loons manager Dick Campbell, whose team are second in the table, has warned his men not to be fooled by Stirling's position in the standings

He said: "Stirling are an improving side under their new management team and we need to be at our best to beat them. The teams around us in the table are all playing each other so we have the chance to gain ground or extend our advantage.

"Having Chris Templeman back is good news although he may have to be content with a seat on the bench."
