Still waiting on Suárez
HAS SCORED JUST FIVE GOALS

What's up with Luis Suárez? Where's his mojo gone?

There is no easy answer to this question. It's true that getting used to a different competition and a different country takes its time. Without doubt, this is a big factor behind the new signing's present lack of form. However, not being able to put the ball into the back of the net when given the chance isn't down to you not being used to your team's game.

Against Atlético, the chance that he fluffed when he only had the keeper to beat is a good example. Since he played his first game at the Bernabéu, the Uruguayan has played in 18 games for Barcelona and has only five goals to show from them.

His drive and motivation are not being put in doubt, but at the end of the day, Barça need goals if they are to be successful in the three competitions they are taking part in. Goals are even more key in the big games - such as in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals against Atlético. The Catalan club can't look to Messi every time they need a win.
