PSG to lead chase for Man City star Yaya Toure if he decides to leave

Paris Saint Germain will lead the chase for Yaya Toure if the Manchester City midfielder decides he wants to quit the club in the summer.

Toure, currently at the African Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast, cast doubt on his future again in a TV interview last week with CNN.

And there were reports in France yesterday that PSG are ready to swoop with a £20 million offer.

Toure, 31, will have two years left on his City contract at the end of the season.

Blues boss Manuel Pellegrini insisted ahead of today's match against Arsenal that Toure was happy at City.

But doubts about the midfield powerhouse's future persist - fuelled by the player himself.

If he eventually leaves, City would target Juventus and France midfielder Paul Pogba - a former Manchester United trainee - as his replacement.
