Dunfermline vs Airdrie United preview - Pars pair set for bows

Dunfermline will give debuts to new signings Kyle McAusland and Andrew Barrowman against Airdrie at East End Park.

Dropping out of the reckoning are Ross Forbes, who has moved to Morton, the suspended Andy Geggan and the injured Ryan Williamson (knee).

Ahead of the game, Pars manager John Potter said: "Our 2-2 draw with Stirling Albion last weekend was disappointing and confirmed to me that I needed to make changes. It is time for us to go on a strong positive run.

"The last time we played Airdrie we gave away soft goals and we cannot afford to do that again."

Airdrie will be looking to repeat December's 3-1 success against Dunfermline, but they will need to do so without on-loan Rangers centre-back Luca Gasparotto as he is on international duty with the Canadian Under-20 side. Fellow defender David Proctor remains out with a groin problem.

United manager Gary Bollan said: "The good run we have been on ended last week against Peterhead and that happened because we did not perform as well as we can.

"To beat Dunfermline at their place will need everyone at the top of their game and to be ruthless when it comes to taking chances - that was missing last Saturday."
