Cheltenham Town vs Morecambe preview - Buckle to shuffle Robins squad

Cheltenham boss Paul Buckle looks set to shuffle his pack for the Friday night visit of Morecambe.

The Robins endured an afternoon to forget last Saturday as they were beaten at Hartlepool and Buckle, who has been told he has used all his January transfer window funds, looks set to ring the changes as he aims for his first home win since taking charge.

The likes of Byron Harrison, Joe Hanks, Jack Deaman and Harry Williams could come into their manager's thinking.

Buckle, whose side are just five points clear of the bottom two, remains without captain Matt Taylor while midfielder Asa Hall underwent surgery on his injured Achilles on Thursday.

Ryan Williams is unlikely to be involved for Morecambe.

The midfielder's future remains in limbo after he spent time training with Scottish Premiership side Motherwell last week, but a minor groin injury is likely to rule him out regardless.

Long-term injury absentee Andy Wright will undergo a double-hernia operation on his persistent groin problem next week while Andy Fleming (knee) has only just returned to training.

The Shrimps will stick with Andreas Arestidou in goal because Barry Roche (hip) is out for the entire season.
