Tottenham Hotspur Key Man Set For £25m Summer Move To PSG

Lloris set to quit White Hart Lane for the French capital.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is set to quite White Hart Lane for a move to French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain in the summer, report the Mail, with PSG set to pay £25 million to land the French international stopper.

Formerly of PSG’s bitter Ligue 1 rivals Lyon, Lloris has only enhanced his reputation since moving to Spurs and can now be considered as one of the leading goalkeepers in world football, leading to continuous speculation that he will leave White Hart Lane in search of another shot at Champions League football, a competition that Lloris has not played in since leaving Lyon for north London.

Despite a shock 4-2 defeat against Corsican outfit Bastia on Saturday evening, PSG remain in the race with Marseille and Lyon for the Ligue 1 title this season and look well placed to continue their ascent into becoming one of Europe’s top football clubs.

Italian international Salvatore Sirigu is currently number one at the Parc des Princes, but manager Laurent Blanc may feel that he can be improved upon and French number one Lloris would certainly represent an improvement, whilst the player himself is likely to jump at the chance to move to the club who are now the biggest fish in French domestic football.
