Brentford could hand a debut to Lewis Macleod when they host Rotherham.
The Scottish midfielder moved to Griffin Park last week from Rangers but was not eligible to face Brighton in the FA Cup.
Goalkeeper David Button returns after he was rested for the defeat by the Seagulls while midfielders Jonathan Douglas (calf) and Alex Pritchard (back) should also be available after sitting out as a precaution.
Right-back Alan McCormack (ankle) and striker Scott Hogan (cruciate) remain on the sidelines.
Rotherham begin life after Alex Revell in the capital.
The 31-year-old, who was a figurehead of the Millers' rise from League Two to the Championship, put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal at Cardiff on Thursday.
New signing Jack Barmby will be in the squad while the Millers hope to get deals for Huddersfield duo Danny Ward and Adam Hammill over the line in time for them to be involved. Scott Wootton is available for the last time of his loan spell from Leeds.
Ben Pringle may not feature at Griffin Park following news that the club are listening to offers for the highly-rated 25-year-old.
