Peterborough United vs Colchester United preview - Ntlhe back for Posh

Posted Friday, January 09, 2015 by PA

Kgosi Ntlhe could return to the Peterborough squad for the visit of Colchester.

Ntlhe has missed the last two matches with a knee injury but with Posh not having played yet in 2015, the left-back has had an extended spell to recover and he may be back in contention.

Gaby Zakuani is away on international duty with DR Congo at the African Nations Cup but fellow centre-half Shaun Brisley is back at London Road following the end of his loan at Scunthorpe.

It was hoped that Jon Taylor might be fit for this weekend but the winger continues to struggle with a knee problem.

Colchester striker Rhys Healey will return to contention after missing last week's FA Cup defeat at parent club Cardiff.

Healey, on a season-long loan with the U's, was ineligible for the third-round defeat but is expected to be named in the squad.

Manager Tony Humes made one change to his starting XI at Cardiff with Cole Kpekawa coming in at left-back for the injured Ben Gordon (ankle), who remains doubtful.

Forward Sanchez Watt and midfielder Craig Eastmond are among those pushing for recalls, but defender Magnus Okuonghae (Achilles) and winger Drey Wright (knee) remain sidelined as the U's chase only their second win in 10 league games.
