Wycombe Wanderers vs York City preview - Trio to return for Chairboys

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth is hopeful three players will return to action against York.

The Chairboys boss is optimistic that Matt McClure, Hogan Ephraim and Max Kretzschmar (thigh) will feature after recent injury absences.

The trio returning to the matchday squad would be a huge boost for Ainsworth, who has already lost Stuart Lewis and Paris Cowan-Hall to other clubs during the January window.

Striker Aaron Holloway is set to be involved having extended his deal until the end of the season.

York's new loan signing Bobby Olejnik is hoping to make his debut for the club.

Olejnik, who will spend the rest of the season with the Minstermen with a view to sealing a permanent move in the summer, is expected to go straight into the starting line-up. Alex Cisak has returned to parent club Burnley and fellow goalkeeper Michael Ingham (shoulder) remains sidelined.

Stephane Zubar has returned to parent club Bournemouth and starts a four-match ban following his straight red card in last weekend's goalless draw with Plymouth, so John McCombe could return to the side.

On-loan Middlesbrough midfielder Brad Halliday sits out the last game of his three-match ban.
