Dagenham and Redbridge vs Oxford United preview - Daggers waiting on Widdowson

Dagenham must wait to see whether Joe Widdowson accepts their contract offer ahead of Oxford's visit.

The full-back's loan from Bury is over but, surplus to requirements at the JD Stadium, Widdowson is now mulling over what is on the table from the Daggers.

Patrick Agyemang, who was not included in the club's last two squads, has returned to Portsmouth at the end of his loan deal.

Winger Zavon Hines (knee) was back on the bench in the win over Bury and could feature for the first time since February 2014.

Oxford striker Will Hoskins is set for a welcome return to the U's bench when they make the trip.

The former Brighton striker has been sidelined since September with a groin injury but scored in a development match earlier this week and is likely to take his place amongst Michael Appleton's substitutes.

Appleton hopes to secure another loan move for Bolton right-back Joe Riley but admits they are unlikely to secure a deal in time for kick-off with the Daggers.

Meanwhile, Patrick Hoban has been given international clearance to begin his Oxford career having moved from Dundalk in November but an ankle injury means he is not in contention this week.
