Luton vs Shrewsbury preview - Wholesale changes for Hatters

Luton are set to welcome back a host of players for Thursday night's clash with Shrewsbury.

Boss John Still was forced into making five changes for last weekend's 2-1 FA Cup defeat against Cambridge.

Nathan Doyle, Scott Griffiths, Steve McNulty, Shaun Whalley and Luke Rooney all missed out through injury or illness but are now back in training.

New signing Jayden Stockley is available, while midfielder Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu is unlikely to be risked from the start having only recently recovered from a hamstring problem.

Shrewsbury will continue to monitor the fitness of striker Andy Mangan for the trip.

The 28-year-old has been struggling with a persistent knee problem in recent weeks, with manager Micky Mellon wary of aggravating the injury further.

Midfielder Dave McAllister could feature after returning from a loan spell with Stevenage while James Wesolowski (hamstring) is fit again.

The Shrews are looking to get their automatic promotion push back on track after going down 1-0 to fellow high-fliers Burton last weekend.
