Man Utd outcast Javier Hernandez unlikely to make Real Madrid move permanent

JAVIER HERNANDEZ is facing rejection from Manchester United AND Real Madrid this summer.
The Mexican striker is on a season-long loan with the Spanish giants in the hope of securing a permanent move.
But Hernandez has struggled to make an impact at the Bernabeu, with Real boss Carlo Ancelotti set to send him back to Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Hernandez has made just seven La Liga appearances and scored three goals for the European champions.
Real seem unlikely to make the deal permanent, and he is likely to be shown the door when he returns to United as well.
Starsport understands that even if United don't decide to sign on-loan Colombian Radamel Falcao from Monaco, boss Louis van Gaal is still determined to sell Hernandez.
STRUGGLES: Javier Hernandez has failed to make an impact on loan at Real Madrid
It will represent a remarkable fall from grace for Hernandez, who burst onto the scene with United in 2010, scoring on his debut before going on to plunder 20 goals in his first season.
Former boss Sir Alex Ferguson hailed Hernandez as one of the most lethal finishers in Europe, but his form tailed off before he was sent packing to Madrid following last summer's World Cup in Brazil.
Van Gaal, meanwhile, has been told that Rafael da Silva will be out for up to six weeks with a fractured cheekbone.
The defender suffered the injury in Sunday's FA Cup win at Yeovil and was taken to hospital before being discharged. Luke Shaw also limped off with an ankle problem and is expected to miss this weekend's visit of former club Southampton.
