Manchester United to beat Arsenal & Sign Quality Duo

Manchester United were in turmoil last season under the management of David Moyes and Van Gaal has slowly but surely solved most of the problems.

United’s attack is now World Class, the midfield has started to perform as well despite obvious lack of quality.

The one department that still needs major improvement is defense. For Red Devils to become one of the top teams again, they must have a solid defense.

Louis van Gaal needs top defenders including the positions of a right full back and more importantly, a leader in central defense.

United have been chasing Dortmund’s Mats Hummels since very long and the German international is still on Van Gaal’s top wish list.

Adding to that, Schalke’s star defender Howedes is also wanted by the Old Trafford club.

Howedes and Hummels played a pivotal role in helping Germany win the World Cup in Brazil.

Arsenal are also interested in the German duo but the reports suggest that the duo will prefer Manchester United as their next destination over Arsenal.
