Greenock Morton vs Airdrie United preview - Ton trio stick out

Morton are without three players when they welcome in-form Airdrie to Cappielow.

Nico Caraux (groin), Reece Hands (pelvis) and Jon Scullion (knee) are all sidelined as the Ton look to build on last Saturday's roller-coaster 4-3 success at Stirling Albion.

Manager Jim Duffy said: "We were delighted to get the win even though we went about it in a strange way. We were 3-1 down with 15 minutes to go when we got it back to 3-2 and I was thinking we could get a point.

"Hopefully we will take a huge lift from getting the win and if we can defend better we can add another three points."

Airdrie, who are unbeaten in their last four games, have an unchanged squad with only David Proctor absent due to a back injury.

Manager Gray Bollan said; "This is the fifth time the sides have met this season and it would be great to finally pick up our first win.

"I don't think Jim Duffy or I have any surprises left up our sleeves for each other so it will just be case of getting on with things.

"We want to keep our unbeaten run going but we know that we are facing a side that will come out flying after their three-goal turnaround last weekend."
