Ipswich vs Charlton Athletic preview - Mings back for Addicks

Tyrone Mings could return to the Ipswich squad for the visit of Charlton.

Defender Mings has missed the last two matches - wins over promotion rivals Middlesbrough and Brentford - due to an infected toe with Jonathan Parr deputising at left-back.

Manager Mick McCarthy named the same line-up for both games and with no new injuries, he will be tempted to keep changes to a minimum.

Striker Noel Hunt, whose initial month-long loan spell from Leeds ends at the start of January, hit a stoppage-time winner at Charlton on his debut as a substitute in November and is set for a place on the bench again.

Charlton, who are without a win in six matches, will be without midfielder Callum Harriott through suspension.

Harriott was shown a straight red card for a first-half foul during Friday's 1-1 draw against Cardiff and starts a three-match ban.

Left-back Rhoys Wiggins (foot) and winger Franck Moussa (knee) are still sidelined but striker Simon Church (shoulder) is fit again.

Third-choice goalkeeper Neil Etheridge is set to keep his place with Stephen Henderson (shoulder) still injured and his deputy Nick Pope dropped against Cardiff.
