Stevenage Borough - Cambridge United preview - As you were for Boro

Posted Saturday, December 27, 2014 by PA

Stevenage have no new problems as they prepare to host Cambridge.

Boro boss Graham Westley could name an unchanged team following the 2-0 win at Dagenham & Redbridge, although Chris Beardsley and Roarie Deacon offer attacking alternatives.

Adam Marriott and Calvin Zola have been nursing injuries recently but both were included amongst the substitutes on Boxing Day.

On-loan Arsenal midfielder Jack Jebb (knee) and defender Jon Ashton (ankle) are out for several weeks, while Harry Worley (knee) and Connor Calcutt (ankle) remaining long-term absentees.

Robbie Simpson is likely to return to the Cambridge side after serving a suspension.

However, Kwesi Appiah was taken off at half-time of the Boxing Day defeat to Southend and is a doubt for Sunday's clash.

Appiah, who has been drafted into the Ghana squad for the African Cup of Nations, suffered a knock and is unlikely to be risked.

Young striker Jordan Chiedozie was also replaced at the break after failing to recover from a calf problem, but Ian Miller looks to have overcome his long-standing problems.
