AFC Wimbledon - Exeter City preview - Moore to miss out again

Sammy Moore looks set to miss out again when AFC Wimbledon entertain Exeter at the Cherry Red Records Stadium on Sunday.

The midfielder has been a stalwart for the club this season but sat out Boxing Day's 2-0 win at Portsmouth due to illness and is unlikely to be considered again.

Adebayo Akinfenwa is another doubt as he was absent from the Fratton Park victory due to a shin injury.

Neal Ardley will assess how well those who did play against Pompey have recovered before deciding whether to freshen up his side.

Christian Ribeiro could return to Exeter's line-up when they visit Kingsmeadow. The Welsh defender settled for a substitute appearance in their Boxing Day win after he suffered a knock in their previous game. After coming on in the 73rd minute, he could return to the right-back berth.

David Wheeler and Jordan Moore-Taylor are pushing for places as Paul Tisdale looks to freshen his side for their second match in 48 hours. David Noble is unavailable, though, after his loan deal at St James Park expired and he is making a permanent move to the Grecians in January.
