Huddersfield Town - Bolton Wanderers preview - Injury could halt Grant

Huddersfield could be without Grant Holt when they host Bolton.

Holt sustained an injury during the second half of Boxing Day's 2-2 draw at Rotherham and was replaced by Oscar Gobern.

Boss Chris Powell admits that the on-loan Wigan man is unlikely to be fit, meaning the end of his time at the Terriers, with a return to his parent club imminent.

Powell will have a head count in training on Saturday, with striker James Vaughan unlikely to have enough in the tank for two games in 48 hours.

Craig Davies will be back in Bolton's squad.

The striker has missed three games because of a hamstring injury but Neil Lennon confirmed he will be in the fold again, and Davies could come straight into the starting line-up with Eidur Gudjohnsen and Emile Heskey, both 36, likely to struggle with the quick turnaround.

Full-back Kevin McNaughton is over his hamstring strain and may be in the squad again while South Korea international Lee Chung-yong could play his final game before going away to the Asia Cup.

Mark Davies (knee), Marc Tierney (ankle), Joe Mason (hamstring) and Max Clayton (knee) are all long-term absentees for Wanderers, who are unbeaten in eight.
