Falkirk vs Raith Rovers preview - Falkirk without duo

In-form Falkirk will be without the banned Will Vaulks and Owain Tudur-Jones, who had knee surgery recently, as they look to make it six wins in a row by seeing off visitors Raith Rovers.

Technical Director Alex Smith said: "We played really well in the opening half at Dumbarton last weekend and the only disappointment was that we did not score more than the one goal.

"They were the better side at the start of the second half however in the final 20 minutes we were great again and won 3-0. If we can hit that high level of performance then we will beat Raith and continue to build momentum."

Raith Rovers have a fitness doubt over striker Christian Nade who picked up a knock in last Saturday's 3-1 defeat from Hibs.

Goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert remains out with a shoulder injury with Kirkcaldy boss Grant Murray looking for his men to end the Bairns' fine run.

Murray said: "Falkirk are in good form just now and will be looking to build on that. We have to go there and believe that we can win and pull closer to them.

"We did well against Hibs last weekend however there equalising goal right on half time changed things. If we play like we did before that happened we can come out on top."
