Scunthorpe United vs Rochdale preview - Same again for Robins
Posted Wednesday, December 24, 2014 by PA
Scunthorpe manager Mark Robins is expected to name an unchanged starting line-up for the home game against Scunthorpe.
The Iron are unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions and Robins has no major new selection issues as his side look to continue their climb up the table.
On-loan trio Luke O'Neil (West Brom), Luke Williams (Middlesbrough) and Richard Brindley (Rotherham) all returned to the starting line-up in last week's draw at Bradford and look set to continue.
Teenage winger Hakeeb Adelakun is one player pushing for a recall after he stepped off the substitutes' bench to fire a late equaliser at Valley Parade.
Rochdale goalkeeper Josh Lillis will make his first start since August in place of Conrad Logan.
Logan, on loan from Leicester, sustained an unspecified "serious injury" in last week's home draw against Notts County and has returned to his parent club for treatment.
Manager Keith Hill will otherwise pick from a fully-fit squad as they bid to retain their place in the top six.
Dale are unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions while defender Rhys Bennett and midfield pair Bastien Hery and Tomas Cywka are among those pushing for recalls.
