Leyton Orient vs Crawley Town preview - Problems mount for Orient

Posted Wednesday, December 24, 2014 by PA

Nathan Clarke and Gianvito Plasmati have been added to Leyton Orient's growing injury list ahead of the visit of Crawley.

Skipper Clarke missed Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Barnsley with a hamstring strain and was joined in the treatment room by striker Plasmati, who limped off after 15 minutes with a hamstring problem.

Midfielder Lloyd James (broken leg) and frontmen Kevin Lisbie (shoulder) and Darius Henderson (foot) are still out injured.

But boss Fabio Liverani can welcome back striker Chris Dagnall, who has completed a three-match ban.

Crawley will check on defender Lanre Oyebanjo and winger Gwion Edwards.

Oyebanjo missed Saturday's 2-1 defeat by Port Vale due to a calf injury and Edwards sat out having undergone hernia surgery a fortnight earlier, but he could return at Brisbane Road.

Transfer-listed former skipper Josh Simpson has been ruled out until the new year due to a hamstring problem.

Striker Izale McLeod will also miss out again as he serves the final game of a three-match ban.
