Doncaster Rovers vs Coventry preview - Bennett worry for Rovers

Posted Wednesday, December 24, 2014 by PA

Doncaster will check on Kyle Bennett ahead of the visit of Coventry.

Bennett (hamstring/thigh) was forced off early in the second half of the win against Swindon last weekend and the winger is rated at 50/50 for the Boxing Day clash. Harry Forrester, Bennett's replacement at the County Ground, will start should he miss out.

Nathan Tyson's recovery from a calf injury has been delayed after he missed treatment last week due to personal reasons, although the forward has been running this week.

Defenders Rob Jones (knee) and Jamie McCombe have seen specialists as they continue to miss out through injury.

Coventry skipper Reda Johnson remains a doubt for the Sky Blues.

The defender has picked up an unspecified injury and may miss the clash with Rovers.

Seb Hines is out with a hamstring injury but Danny Pugh is fit following an ankle problem.

Frank Nouble (illness) and Josh McQuoid (Achilles) are also doubts for the Sky Blues.
