Alan Irvine has revealed West Brom have received no enquiries for their top goalscorer Saido Berahino.

Berahino has been persistently linked with a move away from The Hawthorns following a fast start in this years Premier League.

The Burundi-born youngster has scored seven goals for West Brom in Englands top flight this season, a record which has heightened speculation surrounding the striker's future.

"We've had no enquiries whatsoever, so I'm not quite sure where the stories have come from," said Irvine.

"The chairman has already said he does not want to sell Saido in January so I'm guessing nothing has changed as far as that is concerned.

"At the moment it's certainly only speculation.

Liverpool and Tottenham have both been linked with the striker, whose performances on the pitch have been overshadowed by a recent drink-driving arrest at the end of October.

Berahinos form has somewhat slipped since being held by police, with the youngster failing to score for West Brom in his last eight appearances.

His current deal will keep him at the club until 2017, but Irvine is bracing himself for offers when the window opens next month.

"We may well get some offers for Saido and if we do, the club will deal with them," said the Albion boss. "January will reveal what's going to happen."
